He worked as a programmer for a little while, and he has been building this company pretty much for the last 20 years, over 20 years now.

Recently, there's also another person coming in who is Anish Shah, and he's now the chief operating officer.

And he has a more traditional background, McKinsey and IBM, for example.

But he just joined in 2026.

But one sure way to get better at appraisal is to read excellent works like this one.

The first author, by the way, is Dr. Anish Shah, and I would read this paper.

They explain in great detail the problems with the CHAMPION endpoints and non-inferiority analysis.
