This, though, a true classic, a new classic.

Animation-wise, this is before Leica Studios really innovated how stop-motion was done as a production pipeline with their approach to 3D printing and segmented heads to streamline that production.

And I'll say, streamline for the better, considering the crutch of the production that shadows these movies is that it just takes so impossibly long to animate in stop motion.

Yeah, can we just get into that now in the first film here? Because what Vin was talking about, what Laika really started utilizing was 3D printers for models but characters as well.

I don't know.

None of them knew what they were really doing, but it all landed with its comedic timing.

Animation-wise, most of this also repeats the tricks used by the studio before, but the Witchstorm itself looked amazing.

The swirling clouds have this material fiber that really pops.

But yeah, I guess we'll jump into your first thoughts, which aren't really your first thoughts because you've actually attempted to watch this show before.

But I guess what were your first thoughts going back to this show, especially after watching Ping Pong and the Animation, which is by the same director?

Yeah.

Um, initial thoughts, I have WTF, and then I have a description.

Style you're already used to.

Yeah.

I'm a lot more interested in how Troy from Nerd and Mr. Gaming feels about it, mostly because he also, we watched Ping Pong and the Animation with him, which obviously was a very different style for him, coming from a very heavy shounen favored for him.

And going into this with a lot more similar to Eva, which he did not rank well.

To your point, animation, that's been a beautiful blessing.

I've been doing it for more than 30 years.

Animation, okay.

Now, I can't do voices.

I'm barely doing this show, okay? How? Can you imitate people? Or how do you get into that voice? How did it start? How did it start?

If we're talking about the actual creatives...

In the Disney Animation Studios, I have a lot of love and a lot of support for them.

When I think about people like Alan Menken, then just all of my heart belonged to him.

Even somewhat with voice actors like Robin Williams.

I have to separate, I have to compartmentalize the Disney Corporation from the Disney experience industry.

you know, this massive, like, capitalist conglomerate of influence on not just American culture, but global culture, just how much They own and have their hands in with just the joy and whimsy and imaginative like parts that it really did like nurture for me as a child and like that those two things can exist.

Most women agreed Walt Disney Animation Studios has produced high quality animated films throughout the company's history, but especially during the Renaissance.

I think it set like a very high bar of expectation simply in terms of like theme quality, message quality, and then like delivery quality where, you know, we as a generation really got like hit after hit after hit of just these like great movies, incredible soundtracks, great storylines, amazing main characters, you know, unique and interesting characters.

There's not zero documentation on this one.
