Animals, has been an unforgettable image for many music fans for nearly 50 years.

Now the building pictured on the album art is set to become a concert venue.

Apple announced today that they have opened a new state-of-the-art live music venue inside London's legendary Battersea Power Station, which is already home to the company's European headquarters Apple Music Hall.

So I don't know if that really changes anything beyond making Paramount commit to producing more movies.

Does this mean that Liam Neeson is going to have to keep on taking action roles till he's in his 90s? You know the building on the cover of the Pink Floyd Animals album? I have long known that it is Battersea Powell Station because I come from London, but I've learned more recently that some Americans didn't realise the building actually exists.

Well, it does, and it's about to become a concert venue on the South Bank in London.

That was announced yesterday.

So yeah, look, you know, it's, it's not the heyday.

It's not the, the golden era of the band when they were really, like, the prog rock band going with Dark Side, Wish You Were Here, Animals, The Wall.

Um, but it's its own thing, and I, I love it, Mike.

And, you know, especially for how prog rock bands can kind of evolve and change their sound over time-

Also, my favorite animal reference in the entire movie is when him and his cousin are looking out the window at his cousin's apartment and you see Battersea Power Station and there's a giant inflatable pig floating.

That is a reference to the Pink Floyd album Animals.

Highly recommend that album.

Well, I can kind of break my bootlegs up into the three eras, as I'd shown that we talked about with the regular Pink Floyd studio albums.

You know, the early Barrett and immediate post-Barrett stuff, the classical era with Dark Side Wish and Animals, and ending with The Wall, and then the later post-Waters Floyd.

I think I've got that represented across the board on mine.

Such an angry, subversive song, but camouflaged in this...

I don't know how you would describe this song.

Are there funky parts? It's super creative.

I love the album Animals.

I really love it.

And, you know, it's like long songs.
