Animal sanctuary

But in our movement, we need to have them.

Sanctuaries can bring their voice because they have a voice.

And the sanctuary can really show who those animals are, who they want to be, how they want to be free.

So I think it's really important.

It's going to be a real fun one.

Yes, and as anyone who has spent time involved with an animal sanctuary knows, the reality of this work is that you're constantly, relentlessly on the hunt for resources.

And often, the resource that we're hunting for is extra hands.

Caring for rescued residents, managing grounds, handling fundraising, organizing volunteers, the list of tasks to be done in sanctuary work is truly endless.

And I'm sure that there's some sanctuaries who are saying, wow, this sounds like a lot of work to have an internship program that's compliant and good for everybody.

And the answer is yes, it is.

Much like most things at an animal sanctuary, it's a lot more complicated once you start learning about it.

And that's
