It's far easier to have a conversation with Animal Justice Party than it is with the Greens and to respectfully agree to disagree and to find common ground on some views like we do with everyone and And I did finally meet with someone from the Greens.

There's an argument, and this is how it works in the Australian Senate, this is how it works in New South Wales broadly, an argument that if you get 2.5% of the votes statewide, you probably should get one of those seats, which is not going to be the case.

So it would have been good to have seen that reform happen with an abolition of the regions as well so that these smaller parties... like Shooters, Fishers and Farmers, and perhaps parties like Animal Justice Party are in the parliament because that's reflective of the democratic will of the people.
