And we're gonna talk about this because it was a topic on social media last week and just, just to clarify, I have no idea if this actually happened or not, but there was some buzz on social media about people going to chat to Angus Kinnear for an off the record briefing.

I'm not being able to verify if that happened or not.

Got no idea.

And like I said, that to me is not really off the record because you've got so and so said this in response to a question by another person on topic X, Y. Um, this was slightly different.

Um, and I think in general if you're doing one of those things the idea is you don't want to come out with loads of public info, public quotes, but you are attempting to get across specific points, a specific narrative.

Um, the club I think has done quite a bit recently- By its standards in terms of more on the record stuff, I mean, off, off the top of my head, Angus Kinnear did, what, three interviews a couple of weeks before the window closed.

Normally, you get program notes.

But we've seen rumours now, Andrew, that they're apparently entering Phase 2. of the business plan whatever that is um strategy whatever you want to call it um apparently they're not expecting a penny back even though they've tried to sell most of the assets now um yeah this day we got uh Patterson and Dai Iribunum we've got 80 million combined for them it just feels like they keep going on about this two year plan but it feels like they just don't have one like it literally is strip assets and get the fuck out and it's obvious that to me anyway that's what is happening now as it's gone on

for me like I just saw something there were rumours flying around this morning that about a week like with Kinnear's meeting with the fan group um said about a week before the window ended the transfer plan changed the budget changed everything like it was keep the powder dry pull back sell make money so like i said you know a few shows ago i this feels like a pump and dump um they want to focus on roma they're comfortable running that they know you know how syria works And they just like playing in those waters better.

other interests now in the U S with the hockey expansion in Texas

Yeah, it's a shame, really.

But does it bother you that the Freakens haven't had any contact with the club? Maybe only Kenya, if that? It would bother

me more if they were planning to stick around.

Go and do that deal in December.

the Germans have a break therefore they're quite comfortable with saying that player has agreed to join Everton Football Club when the window opens when the window opens on January the 1st have them Christmas Eve and I'm talking to you media people get a get a I'm talking to you Angus Kinnear or Nick Cox or James Smith or and whoever has to Nick Hammond do the bloody Nick Hammond who does the deals I'm talking to you lot now get this deal done And then PR team or media team or whoever else it is, get, fly out to bloody Germany with an Everton shirt, put the fella in a Christmas jumper, play last Christmas or something.

You know, but at least... come on doing it i mean what in what owner doesn't do an actual interview with when they buy it and give you some wow stuff what we're trying to achieve you never guarantee it right so that would be important to me might be important to everyone be important i think it's important to everyone myself and then i want the owner to go to if it's if it's angus kinnear and all of that group to go there's our budget I'm going to give everything in my power to make that budget even bigger.

So I'm going to go scouring the world for sponsors and things, anything that can increase our revenue, which means you can buy players to make that team better.

I think it's time they came out and spoke publicly about everything and set the record straight.

in terms of what's going on but we're nearly a week after deadline day now in fact we will be a week after deadline day when this goes out and there's still no sign of a public statement from them or Angus Kinnear about what went on what's going on at the club what their future involvement with the club looks like you know we've had reports of them putting the club up for a minority sale looking for investors that's then developed into them being open to a future full sale and then basically saying the club is up for sale send us offers And in the meantime, they've had a chance to clear the air and tell us what's going on.

And we've had nothing.
