Angola Prison Rodeo

Mm-hmm.

And prison rodeos have been done, like films have been done on them, and the Angola Prison Rodeo has been done by a well-known documentary photographer, a guy that did a great documentary film on Angola, uh, called The Farm, which is what it's known as.

So he had already done one on the Angola Prison Rodeo, so by the time I got on the Zoom call with Mary and Andrew, I wasn't gonna do anything on the Angola Prison Rodeo.

But the call had been set up, so I decided to see it through.

And so I do my little spiel that I just gave you, "Oh, I heard a report on, you know, the radio, and I thought about doing something at Huntsville, and then, you know, it opened up the idea of prison rodeos." And I said, "Andrew, do you think there's a good story about the Angola Prison Rodeo?" Knowing I wasn't gonna do anything with it, but just being polite because Mary set the call up.

And he's like, "Nah, not really.

It's been done." You know, um, he said, "But I think there's a great story at Angola." And it, and I kind of told him my cowboy background.
