Angela Pleasence

Jose Ramon Larraz.

You know, you got Deviation, you've got Whirlpool, you've got Vampires, you've got Sym- Symptoms with Angela Pleasance.

And the British countryside beca- became kind of this go-to place for Euro cinema to film, not just in the gothic manner, or you could actually say, in quotation marks, "a modern gothic scenario," where you had a faded empire, so to speak, and that's what the United Kingdom was becoming at that time, you know.

You know, we had been this huge thing.

Ah.

It's about a, a woman who's invited to stay at the remote country mansion belonging to her old friend, who's played by Angela Pleasance, who's Donald Pleasance's daughter.

Mm.

I was gonna say, is there a relation?

Yeah.

Like, it kind of traffics in that sort of vibe.

Very funny thing on this, there is a bonus feature where they interview the actresses, and Angela Pleasance i- like, they're interviewing them now 'cause this movie came out in the '70s.

Oh.
