[laughs] We've just been flagged down for another confession.

So as we're walking into the game fair this morning, and we decided we were gonna be really cheeky and go down the BASC members entrance rather than standing in the queue with everybody else.

We snuck down there thinking, "It's all right, we've got an exhibitor's pass." And just as we get to the lady, my dog decides to stop and diarrhea all over the patch that the lady's standing in to bleep everybody through.

So everyone's standing to queue as I'm there with poo bags.

And my husband and my child ran away and left me, and then the dog goes and stands in it, and he's got a big clump of poo all in his paw as well.

It was just delightful.

[laughs]

Yeah, the poor woman yesterday.

So Angel, when you're there, are you really enjoying it for all the different elements to it? Because it's not just focused on one interest, is it? It's multifaceted.

Exactly.

And I think that as a family, we didn't know, and I say we, myself and the children, we didn't really know what to expect the first time we went.

I've got to say, we had the best time.

As you say, there's something for everyone.

The family side of it, there's the fashion side.

I mean, Dorothy... not stop shopping what was that about but arthur as an up-and-coming food he could not stop buying things he was getting chili local everything and there was just something for all of us i mean and what we what we love because part of our show um when we're there at the game fair we'll get up on stage and do a bit of cooking obviously led by dick but we had a blast

yeah so i mean from your background angel you know east end and all that was game me part of your youth growing up or had dick introduced it to you is when you guys had met and is it now become part of your everyday

And I think that we've always found that the, the sort of the Australian people we've met have loved the dynamic of the family.

Oh, absolutely.

I mean, that is definitely always, you know, um, the, the lead, but I also think that Australians have a, um, a real love affair with France.

Um, you know, the history, the food, um, and you know and i think there is a probably there is something within our relationship that a lot of you know a lot of australians probably can relate to as well i mean we always have a giggle when we when we um have been on tour or we've had australians here um and what and they're always saying i can see um you know my husband's so like dick or i'm a little bit like you um and there's a real there's a real real connection in australia was the the first country outside of the UK to adopt the show.

And really, you know, we've just had such a beautiful community in Australia.

We really, really have.

You've got the mindset of giving it a go, rolling your sleeves up, and we love that.

whole other story um so i i assume guys that the wait for weddings and events at the chateau is pretty long i would say now the waiting yeah i

Yeah.

We had so many distractions.

There was so much stuff going on.

You know, looking back on it, I don't think we really thought about anything.

It was just always about what is the next thing? What is the next thing? I mean, the first year in terms of like toilets, if we're going to speak about that, that was interesting because we didn't have a proper sewage system here.

So all of the toilet paper had to go into these special bins.

And once we actually got our sewage system, it was such a treat to actually be able to put all the paper down.
