Andy Stott

Next soundboard batch.

Other news item I wanted to get to, Andy Stott, who unfortunately didn't win our poll, but of course did release a pretty great album just this past week.

Andy Stott did a Quietest Baker's Dozen interview to promote his new album, which is called Late Loop.

And he made Autechre's NTS sessions one of his picks.

I especially love what he said about seeing AE live, quote, I first saw them at a festival that I played with Miles Whitaker when we did a Millie and Andrea show together.

Isn't this how diamonds are made? Is it about time we escape? Isn't this how diamonds are made? Is it a bad time when you're scared? Isn't this how diamonds are made? Isn't it about time these came? Is it about Tommy's game? Isn't this how diamonds are made? Is it about Tommy's game? Isn't this a diamond to me? My life moves to deepest blue My life moves to deepest blue

From his first new album in five years, that is Andy Stott.

Late Loop is out now.

And that was Something in Mind featuring Elaine Howley.
