Andy Shernoff

[instrumental music]

[instrumental music]That is The Dictators and "Thank You and Have a Nice Day." That is one of the final tracks from The Dictators released in 2023, and that featured Andy Shernoff on lead vocals.

And, uh, like most of The Dictators' songs, that was written by Andy Shernoff.

And, uh, the reason I say it's probably some of the last songs from The D- Dictators is because Andy Shernoff's other guitarist, Ross the Boss, just passed away a few months back.

And honestly, they're all getting up there i- in age, having started The D- Dictators back in, what, 1974 in New York City? Anyway, uh, Dictators, "Thank You and Have a Nice Day," hilarious and awesome.

Proceeded by something from The New York Loose, "The Late 20th Century Blues." That comes from a just-released collection of tracks by The New York Loose.

He'll maybe even as soon as next week.

Uh, I know Andy Shernoff wants to come on and talk to us.

Uh, I know you got some other things in the works as well.

So, uh, yeah, a lot of cool stuff coming up in the Rock Strap.
