We had Andy Ngo, uh, the citizen journalist who Antifa almost murdered.

I mean, they beat him so badly that he was in the hospital with a bl- brain bleed, and he had to escape the country.

He came back to the United States to speak to the Virginia Forum about how awful Antifa is and how the rest of the press, uh, continuously decides not to cover the bad things that they're doing.

This poor lady was just answering the phones.

Um, and this, this is what we're up against, is that type of hostility.

And honestly, most groups after the experience we had hosting Andy Ngo would have said, "Man, this isn't worth it." We didn't make any money 'cause a lot of people didn't show up, and, um, it was too scary, [coughs] and we've upset a whole bunch of people around town because they were willing to host us and then they and their families were threatened with, uh, murder.

I mean, how many people are gonna put up with that? Y- just, just imagine yourself if you picked up the phone today and you were hosting a picnic for a Republican member of Congress.

And there have also been some longtime right-wing media outlets, places like The Daily Caller, that have attempted to take their own reporters and turn them into stars in this same genre.

If you listen to our Who the Hell is Andy Ngo episode, a lot of these folks follow a really similar template to the one Andy Ngo used to get famous, and a lot of them are getting similar results.

Or rather, I just, I have some horrible reaction to publish and let that be the content.

yeah i mean exactly and i mean i think you know going back to this question of why this is popular now you know i think this is this is a point a lot of people have made but the platforms all incentivize fights right like that's what gets attention you know on twitter you know i think on its best days it's like just sort of sort of like verbal argument or that might be interesting but like the lowest common denominator is just watching people like fight on youtube And I think that for some of these influencers that we're going to be talking about, that is the promise.

And what's like gotten so insane over the past year and a half is that it isn't just like Andy Ngo hanging out in Portland trying to antagonize some like black bloc people or much more sort of like mainstream anodyne progressive activists.

It's people embedding with DHS and ICE and kind of like getting into this really weird gray area between like violence that's being dealt out by the state and like a content producer.

Andy Ngo is the independent journalist who was bashed by Antifa and he wrote about that.

And the mob came for Winston Marshall.

It was so bad they had to quit Mumford & Sons, the band he started.

I'd love to see more, though.

Andy Ngo, great journalist, says more taxpayer-funded Somali fraud.

Katie Davis Court of the Seattle area visited Somali daycare centers in the Seattle area, was met with racial abuse and calls to the police.

Democrats have taken steps to hide Somali businesses that get public funds after independent journalists began investigating.

We talked about like no. Yeah.

Andy Ngo going to London and being like, there's a no smoking sign here.

That means that the Muslims have taken over.

Yeah.

He's got a fake big nose pretending to be mocking Jewish people.

That's like wearing blackface, doing an Amos and Andy bit.

Why would someone tolerate that? It's another example of how open anti-Semitism is somehow excused or even celebrated in this country now.

Cancel culture is when we'll stay in the music world.

Winston Marshall got kicked out of Mumford and Sons.

The banjo player got kicked out of the band for recommending a book by Andy Ngo, a book about Antifa.

And he recommended it, thought it was a good book.
