And can you give us some also other priorities that are being mentioned in the new business plan? And I wonder especially how you are balancing the long-term investment needs and the pressure coming from the day-to-day operational needs.
6:06
It's always a balance, isn't it, for any major transport operator.
6:11
So our business plan was launched on the back of securing a long-term capital funding settlement with the UK government, £2.2 billion over four years.
6:22
It's the highest valued, longest term capital settlement TfL's had for more than 10 years, desperately needed to enable us to both invest in new elements for the network, but also enable us to grow through our own funding, our renewals program.
6:39
We are still operating infrastructure that the Victorians built.
6:43
they did an incredible job but you know those assets need constant maintenance and renewing both on rail and road and then on top of that some things I've talked about the key programs we're working on are things like implementation of the or introduction of the new Piccadilly line rolling stock and upgrade of the Piccadilly line Trains that have been in service since 1973-74.
7:08
New fleet of trains on the Docklands Light Railway are fully driverless.

20:23
And I wonder, I mean, how is your view about the future of bike sharing, cycling in London? And maybe when we are talking about new mobility, I can also ask your opinion about autonomous vehicles and how TfL sees autonomous mobility and how you are planning to partner with autonomous mobility players in the future as well.
4:09
Do you get this sense?
4:11
Absolutely, and I couldn't agree more.
4:13
I mean, we need transport across the UK to be integrated, you know, so that people can have a seamless journey, whether it's by road or rail or any other means.
4:24
But equally, yeah, transport and infrastructure is absolutely critical to growth, economic growth, jobs, skills and development.
4:33
And if you look at London in particular and you look at some of our national highways as well and network rails infrastructure, It's all very well building new stuff.
4:41
It's important that we build new infrastructure to enable that growth.
4:45
But we have to look after, maintain and renew the existing infrastructure.
8:54
Do you get that sense that at a national level, politicians still don't quite get this link between transport and economic growth? And do you think there's any possibility of us getting to something like a Swiss-style infrastructure fund that means we don't have to have these arguments on a daily basis?
