Andrew Strong

It isn't about where you're from, it's about whether you can sell pain honestly enough for people to believe you.

And then you get Andrew Strong as Deco Cuffe.

He was only 16 when he came into this, which frankly is obscene.

Most ex... 16- most 16-year-olds sound like they're arguing with puberty.

Am- Andrew Strong sounds like he's been smoking since birth and already twice divorced.

His own bio describes him rising to prominence at 16 in the film, and Alan Parker's site also notes he was 16 during the production.

And that's why this version works.

Yeah, I think so.

Um, at the time, you know, I wanted to kind of break out as myself, you know, 'cause I had al- obviously been gigging with my brother and my dad, and I wanted to do that for myself, but somehow they found out who I was.

[laughs]

[laughs]

Um, so yeah, it was a great experience for me.

Fantastic.

Now, you mentioned your brother and your dad.

Now, for people that mightn't know, uh, your brother, of course, was, uh, uh, was Andrew S- is Andrew Strong.
