But it was a little eye-opening to me that he played in that first preseason game to some degree where, you know, Vic had some level of, you know, wanting to see him mentally, get some extra reps in, you know, some kind of preseason game setting, whereas he did not have those concerns with Drew McCuba.

And, you know, I thought all throughout camp, Drew McCuba wasn't out there, like, picking off passes left to right or anything like that.

But he also wasn't having plays completed on him, you know, really all that often.

And the fact that I think Cooper Eugene is going to be a safety and be an upgrade to re-blanketship in the safety role when he's on the field.

You look at that improvement, you look at the Mukuba improvement, and I feel like those two improvements are going to counterbalance what we lose going from Reed Blankenship to the next guy down on 70% of those snaps, potentially.

So I'd say it's probably flip a coin, but I feel a little bit better about this year's safety room than last.
