But not once, he behaved like the perfect gentleman.

And you know, there's one particular author I very much dislike who's actually gone on record as saying when he used to play Prince Andrew in Gordonstoun, he used to take great pleasure in kicking him.

He subsequently wrote a book about him in which he did exactly the same.

Oh, my gosh.

Well, what's so, I thought what's so interesting is, um, you know, Andrew Morton has lived in Pasadena.

He splits his time between the UK and Pasadena.

Now, to break it all down for us, and frankly, to break some news, we've got Andrew Morton, who is the acclaimed English journalist and best-selling royal biographer who made global history with his revelatory 1992 book, Diana, her true story in which Diana actually participated in.

Now, Andrew is a leading international authority and television commentator on the British monarchy with best-selling profiles of Queen Elizabeth and Meghan Markle.

So of course I had to get his thoughts on everything.

In June 1992, the breaking point of the relationship was reached.

when a book entitled Diana, Her True Story by Andrew Morton was released.

This documented Diana's life including her relationship with Charles and details of his affair with Camilla throughout their marriage.

Although in her lifetime she would always deny any involvement in the book, Morton's work was based on interview recordings of conversations between Diana and James Colthurst.

So the rest, much of which, fittingly, concerned the relatives Harry's arrival has shoved off the front page.

Andrew is reportedly relieved.

With the entire press corps chasing the Cotswolds, one source noted the spotlight has swung clean off him, feeding a genuinely cynical theory that Charles welcomed the timing, the return conveniently burying his brother's scandal.

His understanding is simply that William was not planning to attend.

Sykes points to a recent column by Diana biographer Andrew Morton examining which of Diana's sons is best positioned to inherit her public legacy.

Morton wrote, "For all his faults, Harry is a natural star when it comes to the public and can put people at ease in a way that echoes his mother." That leads Sykes to believe the relationship between Harry and the Spencer side of the family could become increasingly important as the 30th anniversary of Diana's death approaches.

In that same year, Andrew Morton published his explosive biography, Diana: Her True Story, with revelations passed on from Diana about the parlous state of the royal marriage.

So I think it's, it's so much down t- to the fact that it hasn't worked for them in America and they, they sorta come back, I would say they come back with their tails between their legs, but there seems to be no contrition around any of this.
