Andrew Krammer

I'm Emily Leiker.

That's my Minnesota Star Tribune colleague, Andrew Krammer.

And Andrew's picked out four instances from this game that we're going to kind of talk through where the Vikings often stalled out.

Things didn't quite work.

This is the Access Vikings podcast.

We're going to unpack today's win, which... has gone like many of the wins before it this season has, where the defense looked very good.

The offense eventually got it together, had some high moments, also had some moments where you're like, this is not sustainable for another season.

It feels like it's been a long time since the three of us have been here together, obviously coming off the bi-week and into week seven, as the Vikings prepare to take on the Colts at us bank stadium this Sunday, as I already said, this is the access Vikings podcast.

And it's good news for the Vikings as they return or are expected to return Pretty much everyone on their starting offense, and this will be the first game, knock on wood for them, that all of those guys play together.

Of course, the one we're waiting for final official word on is Jordan Mason, but for all intents and purposes.

All right, welcome to another episode of Purple Insider presented by FanDuel.

Matthew Coller here along with Andrew Krammer of the Star Tribune for our hardcore preview.

We didn't have one last week.

I was sad.

All right, normally every week we would be inside TCO Performance Center, and we would be doing a hardcore preview here with Andrew Krammer of the Star Tribune, but there's nothing to preview.

The Minnesota Vikings are on the bye week.

But one thing we do every week is we do a vibe check.

If they go 3-2 the next five weeks, just do a little math here, you are an 8-2 team going into, you know, the final stretch of the season.

So that's, uh, that's a lot to think about when you go 5-0.

Andrew Krammer, Star Tribune, I appreciate you.

Andrew, today we're talking, we've been workshopping the name, what we're gonna call it exactly, but it, it is essentially we're peeling back the curtain a little on the defense and talking about some of these guys who are doing their roles very strongly and just might not be highlight-worthy plays all the time, or you just might not s- hear about them as much as they deserve to, considering how much this, how well this defense has been playing.

Yeah, either some of the more unheralded players or just guys who are, yeah, doing more of the routine stuff that's really core to how this Brian Flores defense is, is destroying offenses right now.
