no no no no andrew it's not quite right so first of all absolutely when mayor daly gave the shoot to kill order um that is political violence by the state but that is that that's not the only violence that happened here and so i don't mean to diminish the political violence by the state i'm not doing that andrew but what in the book will lay out the political violence that is bottom up The Political Violence by the State Now, which is largely ICE political violence against Democratic protesters.

Whole chapter on that in the book.

So, Andrew, it's not that, see, what tends to happen in our conversations is we tend to focus on one element of the era of violent populism that we're in as if that was the whole thing.

What this book is doing that's different is laying out the whole layer cake.

There are many people on the left who believe that we're not quite as self-interested as, uh, as Milton Friedman and the Chicago boys or the Chicago School presents.

Uh, do you think that's a, a fair argument, given what you've seen in The Everywhere Millionaire, where there are many people driven to maximize their wealth?
