Andrew DePaola

The operation has remained smooth.

Give Andrew DePaola a lifetime contract, the long snapper.

Will Reichard, the highest-scoring Viking.

I think he's got 35 points the last three weeks.

[crowd cheering] Roll the bones! Skyema!

Randy Shaver, Brad Ryder, Andrew DePaola will join us because the Vikings play on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins.

We'll see what Andrew has to say.

Uh, but before we go, we had that fun conversation in our stupid news report about a family on vacation.

Good morning.

Good morning, Brad.

And the headliner of our Friday programs, the, uh, finest long snapper in the National Football League, Andrew DePaola.

Good morning, Andrew.

Definitely miss that.

We got Vikings long snapper Andrew DePaola joining us in a half hour.

Uh, for now I'll just tell you it's fan appreciation weekend at Target Field.

The Twins wrap her up with the Texas Rangers.

Appreciate it.

All right, pimp.

There goes, uh, Andrew DePaola.

Our conversation with Andrew DePaola, by the way, is brought to you by Luther Kia of Bloomington.

Use every inch to get it through those goalposts.

But Will Reichard and Andrew DePaola, who also got a shout-out from Kevin O'Connell.

Andrew DePaola, I mean, they couldn't throw...

Neither team could really throw the ball 'cause it was so wet and gross, and he's long snapping in the biggest moments, so, uh, well done.

And then of course the field goal block was huge as well.

So you have that, and you have just the unpredictable footing.

The long snapper to the holder, I mean, having the ball be dry, having everybody have a good handle on those things from Andrew DePaola to Brett Thorsen, I mean, y- it was a good early test for an operation that has a new holder, and that was kind of the big question.

Johnny Hekker, as a, as much as a, as a punter can be well regarded as a holder, as much as a punter can have a, a reputation on those things, he had it.

So the fact that they said, "We're okay to move on from you," tells you they felt good enough about Brett Thorsen as a holder in addition to being a punter to move forward with it.

Oh, sorry.

Uh, uh, um, Andrew DePaola-

Yeah

... will be joining us also to talk about that Vikes game Sunday against Chicago.

[laughs] Oh, no. [laughs] Two out of the three aren't here yet.

We do have Depot, I believe.

Andrew DePaola.

Good morning.

Pro Bowl quality long snapper for the Minnesota Vikings.

Andrew DePaola is here again.

Welcome back, Depot.

What an introduction, man.

Tell us everything.

Tell us everything we've missed between the last time we...

Like, anything new with Andrew DePaola.

Did you, uh, have any new babies? Have you gotten a new wife? Um-
