Andrew Cunningham Scott

You know, we've got these creative and curious minds and I think He wants us to employ those into our different spaces.

My name is Professor Andrew C. Scott, and in this series I am talking to scientists about their journeys in both science and faith.

My guest today is Laura Anderson.

Laura Anderson, until last year Laura Young, and best known as Lest Waste Laura, is an environmental campaigner and influencer.

We've got to get that message over that science and faith are not incompatible, they belong together.

Hello, my name is Professor Andrew C. Scott and in this series I am talking to scientists about their journeys in both science and faith.

My guest today is Professor Ghillean Prance.

He is a prominent botanist and ecologist who has worked at the New York Botanical Garden and spent much of his time undertaking fieldwork in the Amazon rainforest.

It's a wanting to s- wanting to get us wrapped up in the worship of this amazing God who created the universe.

[gentle music] My name is Professor Andrew C. Scott, and in this series I am talking to scientists about their journeys in both science and faith.

My guest today is Professor Reverend David Wilkinson.

David Wilkinson is an astrophysicist, theologian, a Methodist minister, who's been a professor in the Department of Theology and Religion, and the principal of St. John's College in the University of Durham, and is a director of Equipping Christian Leadership in the Age of Science, and a regular contributor to Thought for the Day on the BBC.

Now let's stand together and let's sing a song of praise.

Hello, I'm Professor Andrew C. Scott, and I'd love you to join me for a new podcast series, Journeys in Science and Faith.

I'll be talking to scientists from many different fields about the discoveries that shaped their lives, the questions that drove them, and the Christian faith that underpins their personal and scientific lives.

These are people who never felt they had to choose between God and science.

Faith was part of what inspired their curiosity and their love of the natural world.

From astrophysics and evolution to medicine, geology and the environment, there are some remarkable stories.

Join me, Professor Andrew C. Scott, for Journeys in Science and Faith.
