Andrew County

Basically the Ozarks, and I'll give you a little bit of a backdrop here.

My grandfather having His father and grandfather, his grandfather in particular, was heavily invested in North Missouri farmland in DeKalb and Andrew County and owned several banks and ended up owning a more of the banks and several more banks after that depression 1919 1920 a lot of banks went under and uh he uh he did all right but it was a general famine upon the population and so my grandfather after world war ii decided that they needed to be self-sufficient now he wasn't a farmer he was a lawyer and was the probate magistrate judge.

However, he bought a farm and my father at 15 wanted to start farming and they took their half a dozen milk cows and, and settled out here on Dry Creek.

And my father started farming in that.
