And, like, what is, how did it get started? Is there more you can tell us about that?
39:56
Yeah, so it started in 1982.
39:57
It was, I forget his name that developed it, but he just wanted more inclusion in sport.
40:04
And originally it was called the Gay Olympics until the IOC was having none of that.
40:08
So, of course, like, God forbid we use the O word.
40:11
So shut that down right away.

So how did that dream get you into adult gymnastics?
11:44
Okay.
11:44
So it's kind of a weird path to get there, so bear with me.

So I did that year of gymnastics as a senior in high school.

loved it there at that time really wasn't a path forward into adult gymnastics or anything so the next best thing for me was competitive cheerleading and I was young enough as a senior in high school to be able to super senior on a competitive cheer team that was like local to the area so I did that my first year in college but still like on a high school team because I was young enough and that was incredible and life-changing it like blended all the things that I love together it was like performance in kind of a theatery way mixed with gymnastics and it was like the best thing ever I did that for I competed for a year and then when I aged out of that I did the adult team for a little while and then just kind of life took me in other areas, I ended up getting just a small coaching job at a gym because I was looking for work.
12:48
I wasn't sort of happy in my situation.
12:50
And, you know, I think I did like one semester of like teaching the little rec classes and then they wanted me to do team stuff.
