Uh, my podcast is the Craig Shapiro Tennis Podcast.

Um, I've been recording it a lot less just because I've been a little bit conflicted about adding to the banter, but, um, I just had Andrea Petkovic and Genie Bouchard on my show.

We hosted a huge event the day before the US Open began called Academy Day.

It was a series of, first of all, Genie and Andrea, you know, floated through, you know, a 40-person practice on six courts at Columbia University, the nicest courts in New York.

I know you listen to all the Big T episodes during the US Open with our beautiful colleagues, Ajla Tomljanovic and BG, the one and only Brad Gilbert.

No, I've known Taylor for a long time, played a lot of doubles together with him.

So, kinda know how he thinks, uh, on and off the court.

But Andrea, as you mentioned, this is our first time doing an episode.

You wrote so many in, that I'm gonna actually, uh, hold all the rest of the answers for next week and, and get to them, 'cause you really did ask some awesome questions.

But, uh, the last question I'm gonna ask from Dave Richardson, Petko, "What is Andrea's review of the poke lunch for a rainy day at the Open?"

I mean, Lindsay Davenport, Jim Courier, Andrea Petkovic, Laura Robson.

There's a lot of, lot of great commentators, obviously all led by Mary Carillo, who is the best of the best.

Day 11 at the US Open.

I'm Ajla Tomljanovic with BG, and we are kicking off by saying a big happy birthday to our co-host, Andrea Petkovic.

She is a fun lady.

Below 30% first serves in.

You're just putting yourself on the back foot immediately and against someone of Navarro's quality that's really, really hard and Andrea Petkovic said in, in commentary that serving like that can affect your whole game, you know.

Like, it's the shot where you think you should be able to con- control and serve well and if your serve's not going well, it can affect everything, and Pegula's whole game was kind of struggling from that.

And her body language, as you say, was, was very frustrated.

It's been pretty straightforward so far, but I think that does all shift in the second week.

It was interesting during the Coco Gauff match yesterday, during quite a lull period during that, the World Feed of Commentators, which was Mary Carillo, Andrea Petkovic, and Lindsay Davenport, which is just the most- joyful listening experience.

They were- they ended up chatting about Sabalenka and kicking around what is, what is going on with her, what, what has changed since the Sunshine, since the Sunshine Double, which she, she of course won both legs of.

And Andrea Petkovic had kind of two, two theories on the go.
