Andrea Cambiasso

Juventus began the second half needing another response.

Randall Colomwani attempted to attack Andrea Cambiasso's cross, but Rennes continued protecting the central spaces effectively.

Juventus had possession without consistently disturbing Samba.

Their passing, however, was way too predictable.

Flash score sources, Arsenal links raise questions over Cambiasso's future with Juve.

Arsenal have been linked with interest in Andrea Cambiasso, and Juventus' willingness to consider offers for the defender provides a potential route towards a future deal.

Flash score sources have played down the prospect of any imminent move, with people close to the situation in Italy seeing little indication that the situation is currently progressing.

However, it is understood that 26-year-old is not considered untouchable in Turin, leaving room for developments if Arsenal decide to turn their interest into something more concrete.

The Gunners have reportedly begun assessing Cambiasso, whose ability to operate on either flank and in midfield makes him an attractive option for a club looking for tactical flexibility.

Previous interest from Manchester City, Chelsea and Barcelona also illustrates the regard in which he has been held across Europe.

There are reasons to believe Juventus could listen if the right offer arrives.

His situation within the team may also be a factor.

I'm sorry, my head is here at the moment massively and, and what attackers look like.

And Phil, funny enough, mate, there was a player linked to us yesterday called Andrea Cambiasso.

And I looked at him and I thought, I looked at him running forward and I thought, are we looking at attack correctly as a, as a fan base? Is it how you attack rather than your attackers and how you arrive into areas? And I think that's how we used Rice early on.

He arrived into areas, box crashing eight.

Sort of added line.

Andrea Cambiasso is a player who the data team are highly impressed with.

His stats have got scouts now attending games to further develop the analysis around his ability and versatility.

Long way to go before interest develops further and Juve adore the player.

Maybe there's a feeling that a left-back could be needed.

Or...

And I'm no expert on Andrea Cambiasso, but is he not more the overlapping type? Let me know in the comment section below.

I think he is more the marauding left-back type.

If not already kind of the, the bar, uh, where you say that's the best duo.

And I think also, and we don't know how it's going to play out once there's actual health, you know, depth at the fullback spot, but you have to think Zeki Celik is going to continue to hold down left back, Pierre Koulou will hold down right back, and just look at what Chelek, compared to mostly Andrea Cambiasso, has done Juventus' defense for the most part.

So you don't have the less-sighted center back being essentially trying to make up for all of Cambiasso's mistakes as well as try and do his own job.

So there's more stability there, and that's incredibly important, knowing that, you know, as we've already said, this team is going through a whole lot of...
