And I think Pooley is a he's going to be a special teams guy and a break glass in case of emergency type of player.

I think this is where you miss a guy who really showed you something in the preseason, being on the roster for a couple years here, and that's Andre Sam.

Him going on IR.

Having a guy that you could call from the practice squad that, if need be, can fill in there and fit in there because he's been in the system for a number of years.

There's a lot of practice squad guys that have that.

Cole Wisniewski, Keyshawn James Newby, Chance Campbell, John Ajuku, Jake Majors, Andre Sam still has a main locker.

Who am I forgetting? Um...

Let me look at it really quickly.

So there's a lot of value for having someone like that on the practice squad.

That's the point.

Andre Sam, tremendous practice player.

He's around for a reason.

So, again, a position that it wouldn't be crazy to see how we add somebody.

Andre Sam, who's a player that we were developing, got hurt in the preseason.

I think he's out now for the remainder of the regular season, which is a real shame.

I think he had a chance of making the roster.

So I think they have a decent amount of talent there, different types of skill sets.

And I also want to say that it is a shame that Andre Sam injured himself in the preseason finale.

He was lighting it up.

This is a guy, Josh, who for two summers, he found himself on the outside looking in.

We heard from Howie Roseman today, and he had some interesting things to say.

Oh, I should also mention that Eagles safety Andre Sam, he cleared waivers and he will revert to injured reserve.

He suffered that nasty-looking injury in Friday's preseason finale.

No updates there at this time, but that is the latest on Andre Sam.
