Greg Crutzen is one of my like all time greats.

Just the way he, these huge, just giant sets with, you know, he's on a crane basically directing people like these lights that are coming from all these different, you know, places.

But, you know, whose work particularly jumps to mind that you just like to see if you see an exhibition that's opening and you want to make sure you catch it?

yeah I mean there's that list is endless really you know the work of my mentor Frank Jackson is really good it's the work is aesthetically beautiful but it also has a lot of meaning and reveals a lot about a person and I love that because I'm into the story Andre Wagner I think is one of the best and most important contemporary photographers and just because of his practice and his sensibility to life and learning yeah andre wagner is amazing who else is there you know i could go down the list matthew baton the friendship there there's i don't want to just name my my local uh friends in the leica community because you know that way it might come off as a little bit too obvious But all of the guys on the Laika team I love.

Let me pick up on Matthew Baton for just a minute because I think he's been on the show and he's a friend.

And what's interesting about his work, I think, has value for a person who's listening to this podcast.
