Andre Cisco

Who's not playing for them at all.

Um, Andre Cisco, who's been, you know, effectively benched, obviously an experienced free safety.

So some interesting names there.

I'd be surprised, I think, if they traded those two guys you mentioned, Breesall and Garrett Wilson.

Like, you know, you were doing pretty well with a lot of these guys, um, you know, quickly, like just going through some safeties.

I mean, the jets, uh, Fitzpatrick, Belton, more Cisco, that doesn't particularly do it for me.

Uh, dolphins aren't going to move on from their safeties.

They're, they're trying to build something there.

I mean, it was up until last week, they had a two-week stretch between Detroit and Chicago where they had only three sacks across those two games, and those three sacks came on three blitzes.

Two were from Demario Davis and one was from Andre Cisco on a safety blitz.

Last week, four of their eight sacks came on the blitz, so 50%.

So what, that's 11 sacks over the last three weeks.

Some of it is secondary pressure, right? You saw ear- a couple of games early where he-

... you saw Andre Cisco-

Untouched

... untouched-

Yeah, um, I feel like we got a good veteran, uh, presence in our room.

Uh, Minkah Fitzpatrick, like you mentioned, uh, Andre Cisco, uh, Demario Davis, uh, is a guy that I talk to a lot as well.

Um, those older guys, um, who, who really can t- you can learn a lot from just by talking to them, picking their brain and, um, they, they have, uh, done a good job of taking me under their wing.

What's your relationship like with, uh, with Jarvis Brownlee? Obviously, you guys play a similar position.

I'm just giving you five guys without ranking them.

Dane Belton, he's looked like a really solid signing, and he's broken my curse Every single year, it feels like the Jets bring in some veteran safety, whether it's Andre Cisco last year, Bradley McDougal back in 2020 in the Jamal Adams trade.

I mean, I, I could go on and on.

Like, every year the Jets bring in some veteran safety, and I say he's gonna be good, and he always ends up being bad.

I love it.

Now, sometimes because his number looks like Cisco's number, I'm like, is that Cisco? Is that Belton? It's a little tough to differentiate on TV, but he has distinguished himself very quickly.

Really good signing so far.

I mean, it's the between the margins stuff.
