André Almeida

We need to talk about why Osasuna's defenders keep waving the ball through to the opposition centre-forward.

And we need to ask whether Andre Almeida was framed by the VAR into looking like Bruce Lee or Jackie Chan, or should I update my Kung Fu references?

And I need to ask

Terry why a lot of semi-naked men crammed into a very tight space in Valencia on Sunday.

Harvey Elliott moved to Valencia on loan.

And effectively, it kickstarted this weird little period where then Andre Almeida, who Carlos Corberan just doesn't rate for whatever reason, Evidencia moved to Racing Santander.

And off the back of that, Olympiacos activated the buyout clause for Gustavo Puerta, who was one of the breakout stars of the World Cup with Colombia.

They basically signed him.

There was nothing anyone could do about it.

He became the 15th or 16th player to join Olympiacos in the window.

But I think that Andre Almeida will get the opportunity now alongside Sergio Canales in that Racing midfield to showcase why he should have been playing more for Valencia.

He's a player that I've really liked ever since he was playing at Vitoria Gimaraes, but has just seemingly been frozen out.
