Anderson Cup

And we were inaugural season champions that year.

Carrying the Anderson Cup into the locker room was a great privilege.

I was 17 then.

My defense partner was a young fellow who actually lives in Arizona.

And we played, we flew from Thunder Bay to Chicago and played there.

We bussed down to the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul.

We went over to Fargo, North Dakota and traveled throughout the Midwest of America and And as I mentioned earlier, we earned what is called the Anderson Cup.

And to this very day, the Midwest Junior Hockey League kind of morphed into the new SHL, the United States Hockey League, which is a premier development ground for hockey players and the Anderson Cup.
