You have Trubin, who is more of just a pure shot stopper, reactionary, you know, style keeper who, you know, he's going to stay on his line.

He's not really going to come off his line.

He's going to stay there.

He's a reaction, you know, classic stop shot stopper kind of guy similar to duo costa you know whereas with samu it's hard to compare because a sweeper keeper is a different kind of expectation you know you almost kind of act as a third center back at points you're coming out you know very aggressive what

um you have the ball your feet more and i think that's where the value really is so um i think maybe that's why truman ended up not leaving i think to have that as an option to have that pure shot stopper you know if you're getting a situation where samuel's confidence is getting low or he's giving the ball all over he's conceding goals he's playing around the ball okay now you can put you know there's a experienced shot stopper in there who can kind of shut the door if you need it so it's good to have both types of options available to you um obviously i think i'm perfectly fine with samuel being the starter i don't have any complaints with that but Um, there's a reason I think that if you guys try to renegotiate with Trubin on and get him on a lower salary and keep him around, I think that Marcos Silva appreciates having a different option at the secondary position because understanding Samu is young that, um, you know, things can go bad and his confidence could become shot and you want to have a reliable guy to turn to.

If, you know, like, for example, we go to the San Siro and Samu gets lit up three, nothing, you know, and you're going into the ground and, Maybe Samu is not feeling it.

We saw some players that did not leave.

Trubin did not leave Bafika.

That was an interesting situation, I thought, this summer.

Pavlidis had been in the news, maybe moved.

And we'll get into this maybe at some point, the goalkeeper thing.

I was like very surprised that Trubin was not moved.

I guess just nobody came calling.

I think that was just one of these kinds of things.

Right.

I just don't know how you're going to move forward with that because I just think the morale – in that goalkeeper room has got to be just Shaw.

I can't imagine Trubin is very happy to not have left in this window.

And, yeah, I just – I don't know.

We're going to get what we have, the 35.

And they're doing the same thing with Trubin.

You can tell Trubin wants to leave.

He's not happy.

He doesn't want to be someone.

That, look, you want to, if you want to replace Kinski, then that's very difficult to do because of the nature of just those homegrown element issues that we've got.

I mean, they've been linked to this goalkeeper, forgive me, this Anatoli Trubin, who I think has worked with De Zerbi previously before.

And I was-- I mean, look, we were laughed at a few weeks ago for even bringing up Mudryk on this show.

People were saying, "You're crazy.

I don't know whether you can shed any lights on, any light on this.

Uh, and again, I'm gonna try and pronounce the guy's name, Anatoliy Trubin, who is someone De Zerbi knows really well.

Like I say, he's worked with him at Shakhtar Donetsk.

I just wonder, have you heard any murmurs, Ben, whatsoever on Spurs in these final remaining days of the window looking at other potential goalkeepers to come in and rival Kinsky? And I just wonder what that means as well for Kinsky's mental state, if that was to be the case and we were to bring somebody else in.

Because, um, a goalkeeper that Spurs are apparently keeping an eye on, I'm gonna absolutely butcher his name now, please forgive me, is the Ukrainian goalkeeper, Anatoliy Trubin, who quite interestingly, De Zerbi worked with him during their time at Shakhtar Donetsk.

And we're being told from a friend of the show, Paul O'Keefe, that is one to watch between now and the remainder of the window.

I mean, after all we've gone through with Kinsky, just signed a new contract.

That was absolutely sensational.

But what's your thoughts on that, Dal? Like Marlon said there, by the fact, in this last 24 hours we've not been linked to one, we've been linked to two goalkeepers.

Emi Martinez, who we know is desperate, I think, to leave Aston Villa, and now this, a goalkeeper that De Zerbi has worked with in the past, Trubin, the Ukrainian goalkeeper, Anatoliy Trubin.

W- w- what do you make of the timing of this, Dal, as we go into, what, the final few days of the window? How surprised are you by goalkeeper links coming up now when it looked all but for certain Kinsky was definitely gonna be the number one? Is that maybe not the case going into these final days of the window? Or do you think because of the homegrown club trained issues, that makes it very difficult to navigate a way in which another goalkeeper comes in?
