What could you have done differently as a, as a person and as a party?

So look, I've always been open about saying I've got to take my fair share of responsibility for the election campaign and the election defeat.

Um, I think ultimately could we have been...

I, I think we live in a politics now where we live in the conflict economy.

Uh, you've got to be agitating.

You've got to be creating a fight to get noticed.

Perhaps we could have been a bit more, uh, on the edge, a bit edgy i- in the election campaign to try and get that notice, to try and get that attention away.

Anas, do you wanna kick us off?

Well, the perfect example of the chronic waste under this SNP government is the fact that we've spent half a billion pounds on two ferries that don't sail and was actually painted on windows as a publicity stunt for a former SNP first minister, or indeed another example in my home city of Glasgow, where a 100 million pound prison is now going to cost 1 billion pounds.

So the comment that was made right at the start by the gentleman, that people feel as if they're paying more and more and getting less and less in return, that is a fact under this SNP government.

So what are we gonna do to fix it? First of all, we have to reform our procurement so we ensure that Scottish contracts go to Scottish companies.

Second, we've got to negotiate these contracts better so we're not wasting money after money.

Third, we've got to give power to the islanders so they can make more decisions about their lives, because yes, we think about the economic incompetence, but for islanders it's a loss of access to healthcare, a loss of trade 'cause they can't get goods off the island, and a loss of tourism going onto, uh, the island.

And fourth, we have to finally get growth into our economy.

I suppose my question to you is, are you prepared to do what it takes to really radically reform the education system, or is it just gonna be a, if you win, a c- continuation of the SNP, which looks like a pretty lax kind of indulgent of, of, of old ideas of education and not really transforming the life chances of those people from working-class communities you're talking about?

So I think the short answer is yes, we will take that different approach because the opposite would be an absolute dereliction of duty and will not doing fair by a generation.

Scotland had this history and tradition of education and it being an example to the rest of the UK and to the rest of the world.

But let's be honest about what's happening in far too many places in Scottish education right now.

Our literacy and numeracy rates are, have declined.

We're way behind in terms of where we need to be around science and technology.

So what would you do to actually restructure, make it more business-friendly, get more entrepreneurs in, get the economy growing, or am I sounding too right-wing?
