So Anarion ends up, I think we learn later, ends up having, what, three children? Three kids, yeah.

Two daughters and then a son.

And then

His last voyage took place about the end of the first millennium of the Second Age, and in the year 1075, on Calame became the first ruling queen of Numenor.

There they established in the northwest the Numenorean realms in exile, Arnor and Gondor.

Elendil was the High King and dwelt in the north at Annuminus, and the rule in the south was committed to his sons, Isildur and Anarion.

They founded there Osgiliath, between Minas Ithil and Minas Anor, not far from the confines of Mordor.

for this good at least they believed had come out of the ruin, that Sauron also had perished.

It was planted in the city of Minas Ithil, later called Minas Morgul, near the time of its founding, which was roughly in 3320 of the Second Age, and it would be destroyed when Sauron attacked the city in 3429. but not before Isildur fled once again with a sapling.
