[pensive music] Samuel Herr was born on May 29th, 1983, and raised in Anaheim Hills, California, by his parents, Steve and Raquel.

He was their only child, and they poured everything they had into raising him, even when it was difficult.

Sam had learning challenges that made school challenging.
