Um, the county has been discussing water needs for several years now, and, um, they were last presented with three options to address, um, future water needs and ways to acquire more water for the county.

And the two most popular options were partnering with Southern Pines and putting what they like to call a second straw in Drowning Creek, um, which is to say a water intake.

An intake.

Intake, um, to pull more water so that they have additional, um, gallons.
