Ana Mercedes Hoyos

Of course, Botero, we can say, is a global artist.

But also Ana Mercedes Hoyos, really all the collections in Bogota, there is at least one or few paintings by her.

So you could see that in this collection, you have the major Colombian artists, a few international, but really they are collecting the locals, which I believe it's an important thing to have a local market that is strong if you want to also be strong outside.

And the galleries are doing a great job about it.

Instituto de Visión at Arvo, they were bringing emerging artists from Colombia.

And they were also presented at Independent in New York that this year was taking place at the Breuer Building.

And they were bringing works by Ana Mercedes Hoyos.

And Colombia has some really great artists.
