Amy Steel

She's awesome.

She's really, really cool.

And what's her name? Amy Steele.

She was sweet when I met her.

Ari Lehman's crazy.

Yeah.

He's in it and, and the guys from Summer School and Amy, uh, what's, God, my names thing is gone right now, but, uh, Friday 13th Part II, um, you know, Final Girl is in this and-

Oh, yes.

Hold on

... you know, so it's, it's really, it's, it's a solid, um, cast.

Uh, and-

I, I just, I just wanna say there would be, so firstly, Amy Steel is who you're talking about-

Amy Steel

... are actually my favorites

... you know who I d- I, I recently met, um, uh, Amy Steel.

Oh, wow.

From the, yeah, The Final Girl.

This was based on characters by Victor Miller and Sean S. Cunningham.

Starring Amy Steel, John Fury, and Betsy Palmer.

Genres, slasher, teen, splatter horror, suspense, mystery, whodunit, thriller.

From the United States.

The film opens with a suspenseful pre-title sequence revisiting Alice, played by Adrian King, the sole survivor from the first film.

Her demise at the hands of Jason sets the tone for the rest of the movie.

The narrative then shifts to the new counsellors, led by Paul, played by John Fury, and his girlfriend Ginny, played by Amy Steele, who are oblivious to the lurking danger.

As the counsellors settle in, the film follows a familiar slasher formula, with Jason picking them off one by one in increasingly brutal ways.

While the film attempts to maintain the suspense and horror of the original, it struggles with pacing and character development.

Oh, for sure.

And it's simply due to the fact that Amy Steel's performance is fantastic.

It is a shame that she never really did all that much more.

I mean, she's in April Fool's Day, another fun slasher movie that I really enjoy that doesn't get talked about enough.

I agree.

Uh, that's Amy Steel as Ginny, who's both-

Ginny

... beautiful and resourceful.

And like the whole fight is-

Wait, don't go...

I don't wanna go past the block because Jenny or Amy Steel fucked that up and sent the stuntman to the hospital because she hit the wrong part with, uh, with the ax.

Really?

It's, it's a good one.

Um, and, uh, you know, besides the Redgrave sisters, you've got Amy Steel from Friday the 13th 2.

Mm-hmm.

Um, also in April Fool's Day, which we watched recently.

So the neighbors, uh, they're the closest to a cast we get, which is like a family of yuppies who live next door.

Yeah.

Amy Steel, who I, my day job in the '90s from like '91 to '97 was casting TV commercials, and she would come in all the time, and she's the best and, and also of course Fr- one of the most famous Final Girls-

Yes, yes

No. Jason thinks-

Nor does she look like Amy Steel looking like her in part two, either.

N- no.

No one looks like anyone, and also, the woman at the beginning looked nothing like the actual Pamela Voorhees.
