Amiga CD32

I don't know about that.

YouTuber and game developer Modern Vintage Gamer has released his own port of Gunsmoke for the Amiga 1200 and Amiga CD32 platforms.

The game does not require the use of fast RAM, though without it there will be some missing sound effects.

It's a name-your-own-price title on his itch.io page.

I have... just so many ways.

And I wanted to just kick back on my big screen and play it on my CD32, and it would start up, but at the menu, I couldn't hit any buttons.

And I was like, okay, it's not a CD32 game, and I'm trying to play it here, so that's the problem.

I went on to my Amiga 1200, and using the WHD load version, at that first menu, no buttons would work.

And so then I went to my mister and did the same thing.

That is nice.

Here's something you'll be happy with.

It includes a dedicated CD32 ISO image and NTSC auto detection.

It's a truly amazing display of Namco being Namco.

Anyway, you're not here to hear us talk about the Amiga CD32, which you should, because it's weird.

Um, but yeah, the, originally when we talked about this, I think the, they were only aiming it at, um, AGA Amigas, so like the Amiga 1200 and the, the CD32.

But now they've actually got a version running on the, the Amiga 500 and 600 as well.

So there's two different versions.

Do I miss the miss? Um, no, I'm in neither.

I backed it on the Next, and I've also backed it, and I've taken the, uh, choice of, um, the CD32 box version.

I can see how people would be mad about it.

You'd think maybe a CD32 version that would be coming in the near future or a CDTV version where they add in the speaking and whatnot.

Maybe they could do something like that, but they didn't.
