Like, yeah, like a weak gem like, uh, Amethyst should not be able to like do this amazing fusion, and like, like, you know, the gems, the Crystal Gems kinda prove that like the circumstances of your birth don't really matter.

Yeah, it's a really good tale of like, you know, it's any sort of like almost underdog story.

Like, if you wanna just be Amethyst and just eat a bunch of like dirty pants-

Pearl was like, Garnet, I'm sorry.

And Amethyst stepped up for Pearl.

Yeah.

And Amethyst was like, Garnet, you don't understand.

You're so much stronger than us that, like, you know, that, like, you know, we want to feel just a fraction of that power.

Yeah.

I feel like when Amethyst fused with Steven,

she should have been able to feel... how much stronger Steven was, because he's a diamond.

Yeah.

Because he's like, "Garnet, Amethyst, Pearl, I know they expect something big of me."

They're, by the way, while he's doing this whole, "Garnet, Amethyst, Pearl, I, they all expect," they all appear in their own, like, giant-ass Mufasa v- version, you know?

Yeah.

They're all just, like, giant-

... really hope it was so low effort that it was just the Pearl design and, like, the Garnet, Amethyst, and Rose designs, but they all had mustaches and that's it

It really worked for the gems in the second half.

Like Pearl and Amethyst have some expressions in the first half that are just like...

Like Looney Tunes is almost like the way that I would describe how like overacted they are.

I almost wonder if this was an issue of them just kind of throwing full Monty towards the second part slash what will be episode two.

um but yeah so the hand starts to touch down the gems are shooting the light cannon at it um

which steven is the one to pull the trigger which is kind of funny oh because he has to uh activate it yeah yeah so

he runs back to the gems with greg um and yeah they shoot the cannon and it's all of the gems like rose and uh and Pearl and Garnet and Amethyst, which is kind of weird, too, because like the the cannons were made before Amethyst was born.

Oh, yeah.

Oh, maybe that's it.

I was like, I feel like I remember what Amethyst does and what like Bismuth does.

And that's about it.

I have an image in my head of Peridot in a greenhouse.

That's a season five moment.

I feel like it's a future moment.

The thing is, realistically, Amethyst would just use it by accident one time.

Just like completely innocuously, just like casually like, hey, Steven, how's it fucking going? And then just moves on.

I don't think that's true.

If you're watching the video, you'll see that I'm wearing a shirt that says Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl and Steven.

It's the only time, I have like two Warner Brothers shirts from my time at Cartoon Network.

And I've been wearing this all day.

Yeah, let's indulge in some philanthropy.

So the episode begins at the abandoned warehouse where Amethyst and Steven are in the middle of underground wrestling.

They are obviously using their identities, Purple Puma and Tiger Millionaire, which I thought everyone knew it was Steven, but I guess not.

We'll find out in a little bit.
