So my name is Chloe, like you said.

I am a business mentor for personal brands and a business lecturer at Amersham College, so for FE.

Okay, so obviously Talent Unboxed was created to help businesses and candidates navigate the talent space a little bit better.

So what I thought was really interesting when you reached out was to explore that personal brand bit in a greater detail because I think it's become a big thing.

The personal brand isn't strong.

Okay.

So, you're now lecturing this at a college in Aylesbury, where you're from, right? Amersham, yeah.

It is now a Lib Dem seat.

And it was a Lib Dem seat in the by-election, but that was ratified at the last election as well.

This place is as Tory as they come.

They literally, I mean, I used to wonder why they even bothered counting the votes here.

And because it was just like, we'll just get the party going now in Tory party headquarters in Amersham, Jesham.

And it was just like, that's the way it was.

But this was in opposition, and certainly in government, absolutely I remember the civil service saying to David Cameron, "Do we really need a Shadow Secretary of State for Scotland?" And the answer was, "Yes, we do." Um, and, uh, David Mundell did that job, uh, exceptionally well.

We didn't, I think in Wales we had, uh, the late Cheryl Gillan, even though she was the MP for, um, Amersham [laughs] because we didn't have a Welsh politician who could do it to begin with.

And, and at least she was Welsh.

Yes, she was Welsh.

I think to date, up to today, they've saved over £100 million.

efficiency savings by bringing those authorities together by obviously consolidating the workforce consolidating contracts consolidating services and they expect uh in total to save nearly 300 million pounds once all of that process is fully complete so a really significant saving efficiency saving overall um also they've actually benefited from a property perspective because they've got some redundant office spaces uh in amersham in high wickham in particular where they are now realizing the value of those assets.

I think they've sold the Amersham council offices for about 8 million pounds.

That's ironically, they've sold that to Lidl and then subsequently refused planning commission for the Lidl supermarket on that site, but that's at the side.
