Tell us a little bit more about this commentary and what was the perception in the scientific community of the ideas that you presented there?

Maybe caffeine can lead to lower sperm count.

A study done for the American Journal of Epidemiology examined the association between semen quality and caffeine intake among 2,554 young Danish men recruited when they were examined to determine their fitness for military service.

After they controlled for confounds, a fancy word which here means a variable aside from the independent variable that influences the outcome of an experiment.

For example, in a study on alcohol's influence on lung cancer, smoking tobacco would be a confound.

Good question.

There was a brilliant journal article, and this is out of the American Journal of Epidemiology, 1984.

And what they did is they found out that before the measles vaccine was introduced, that it affected about 10.3% of the susceptible population.

Susceptible.
