I'm your host, Miranda Reiman, with my co-host, CEO of the American Angus Association, Mark McCully.

And Mark, we've just wrapped up with our September board meetings.

And as we typically do, we've invited a couple of the board members to come into your office and just recap what we heard throughout the week.

And especially with AGI, there's been a lot of focus and a lot of time spent in the planning processes.

But it's really neat to see Kelly and her team and how they have funneled that down now to actual implementation.

plan and design and how she's going to make this all happen because AGI you know as as we all know you know it's it's a part of American Angus but it's also its own entity with its own goals and plans and you know how you merge all that together and keep Angus at the focus but and serve the membership, but still grow that organization to be able to do things outside of Angus that it could do and become and be a profit center in many ways.

But it's really been fun to watch Kelly and her team pull it all together the last couple of years.

It looks to be a good event here in Kansas City.

Yeah, it's the second one that we started this for the first time two years ago.

So whether that's a health data or some environmental data that you could pick up.

And this is really kind of picking up where that conversation left off and continuing the discussion, candidly looking across species and looking across the bigger genetics landscape to see what's going on in other parts of the protein production world.

And what are the things we can ultimately distill down and bring back for Angus breeders?
