Amelia White

We saw Rocky Rodriguez come in for Dabinia.

We saw Itala Gamali come in for Gabrielle Robinson, Bailey Feist for Labonta, Amelia White for Michelle Cooper.

And then lastly, Penelope Hawking in for Vanessa DiBernardo.

Cindy, what were your thoughts in terms of just performances from everybody I mentioned today? And who is your player of the match?

Which, you know, when Allie Centenor was trying to play that role before she was traded to Angel City, as man, everybody was trying to get on the Hopkins train and let her be the nine, but maybe this is the third game where I do, I'm starting to question...

Does Hopkins really need to be the starter at the nine anymore or even just on the field to start? I'm like, could maybe Amelia White be the better option? Coleman, is there anybody else that you can think of? I mean, the depth is really blah.

No.

Yeah, it's not.

I think a match to me that really stands out to that is very significant and almost is symbolic for how the current have played all year.

It's either this one or the fixture against Gotham where Amelia White scored a great goal at the beginning of the game.

And then after that, the midfield was just non-existent despite all the insane talent on this roster.

And the team just kind of collapsed.

And then after that, they just kind of settled in.

And like, no shade to Amelia White, who's been really fun.

And Penelope Hawking, which just needs to play more level-headed, I think.

But he took out Timwa and Dabinia.

So it's like, who's creating? At this point, you have Lowe, Hayley Hopkins, Penelope Hawking, and Amelia White.

Like, who is your creator in that moment? Who is breaking down? Who is unlocking? Because Coop is fantastic, but they actually flipped Coop to the other side as well because Amelia White's more comfortable on the right-hand side.

So you're already moving your star player out of her preferred position, the one you're keeping on the pitch.

Yeah.
