43:07
think you're right though about that like the opening part because that just you set a scene and then you do and then you're then you know where you're going
Amelia SordellGUEST
43:14
yeah so I have the same opening every time I do a keynote every single time I say hi my name is Amelia Sordell I'm the founder of clout in uh you know in in 2020 I quit my safe job in the middle of the global pandemic to start a business when no one else was starting businesses and blah blah blah and now I'm here and then I kind of go into my story about personal branding but knowing knowing how to knowing what you're saying and memorizing that bit and that was actually a friend of mine harry hugo that gave me that advice so he said harry was the co-founder of the go agency that exited for wp to wpp for 230 million seven years in so they did a shout out harry well done dinner on you yeah um he did a very good job and now he runs farnham fc and he's doing a great job over there um But he said to me, I said, what advice have you got? This was years ago before I started doing keynotes and I was like shitting the bed every time I thought about like doing this even would like send me anything.
Amelia SordellGUEST

James ConnellyHOST

So we've had some really nice feedback.
James ConnellyHOST
0:50
I'll start with a thank you because I've had lots of positive feedback feedback from friends and family and colleagues and all sorts of people which I needed because it's like it is you've got to get over cringe mountain as one of our guests Amelia Sordell called it when you go and do something like this I'm out of my comfort zone I guess that is a little bit of the whole ethos of sitting uncomfortably And then, so yeah, to have some positive encouragement has been much appreciated.
James ConnellyHOST
1:17
And actually, thank you just, if you are still listening to this, if there's anybody still listening, then thank you.
James ConnellyHOST
1:26
The support is welcomed and needed.
