And so one pharmacy in particular, Amazon Pharmacy, you know, confirmed to our reporter that they would not dispense a package like this because it was not the right, uh, size for a woman's dose, and they didn't want to be more or less responsible for, you know, what happened with the rest of the package, or whether or not it was reused and then the drug wasn't as, um, effective, or that maybe they were getting the wrong dose.

And because it's not approved for women, Caroline says many are finding that insurers won't cover it.

There are more than 30 trials underway studying testosterone use for various health conditions in women.

And that includes fulfillment centers, corporate offices, delivery stations, Whole Foods markets, many more things.

Okay, so prescriptions is an area where for the most part, the simple prescriptions, members manage those expenses on their own.

So whether they're using Amazon Pharmacy or they're using GoodRx or NeedyMeds or any other discount program-

... to manage their ongoing or as-needed medication costs, those the members take care of on their own.

You are not going to get with this specific option.

And if you're not familiar, I kind of describe it as Pharmacy 3.0.

So instead of retail or mail order, our pharmacy is in your pocket.

And so, you know, they will be non-adherent because they don't know if they can even afford it.

They don't want to go in and have a physical conversation about a private health matter.

And if I look at it, the cost for Amazon Pharmacy to do a clinical evaluation, make sure that drug is safe, packed correctly, and delivered to the customer is a lot less than when there's a rejection or the doctor prescribes and we're unclear if that medication is replacing another.
