Amateur

Yes.

One of the pleasures of my life is I sit on the committee of the old Halebury Amateur Football Club in the Amateurs.

He's a man of the people.

Four years I've been on that committee and we had a shocking year this year as far as I've seen.

The club wear shirts divided into chocolate and pink halves.

They're known as the Casuals, the Amateurs, and the Chocolate and Pink.

Their men's first team play in the Combined Counties League Premier Division South.

The Football Association classifies it as Step Five of the National League System, which makes it the ninth level of the English pyramid.
