Amari Whiting

Not going to play the four, right? But some of those attributes that you mentioned sounds like it lines up.

I would say her or Amari Whiting, the Oklahoma state transfer.

Now look, Kylie and her were two totally different players, but Whiting in terms of how much they love to play defense, how versatile they are.

I think Whiting fits the more immediate need, but in terms of like, cause Kylie was really long and that's what really helped guard.

Danny.

I would say right now Amari Whiting, the Oklahoma State.

Over

Stremlow?

A lot of interesting ties.

If you actually think about me, think about Amari Whiting just recently transferred from Oklahoma state.

She's at Iowa.

Then you look at Audie Crooks and who's now at Oklahoma state as well.

former AU teammates, I think probably almost for sure will start.

And then you go between Taylor Stremlow and Amari Whiting at the, probably at the three spot.

So now Stremlow can play all the spots.

She can play the one, two, three.

Um, you know, Taylor Stremel had a really good year last year, shot it really well.

Um, they bring in Amari Whiting to, to kind of fill that defensive role.

And they're, they're similar but different defenders.

Um, Amari kinda gets a few more steals, so that'll be interesting to see if, if that kinda carries over to Iowa.

Um, a- and that's barring injury throughout the entire season.

I see no situation where those three don't start every game.

Um, from there I would, I would put Amari Whiting in the lineup.

Okay.

What are, what are the newcomers saying about just being part of the Iowa program? Obviously, you have Phayson, you have Carnegie, you have Ella Stromdahl, who is from Sweden.

Uh, Amari Whiting, who's played a ton of basketball.

You have a D3 transfer in, in Bria Medina.

Um, you know, there, there's kind of an eclectic group here.
