problem is the dialogue wasn't really adapted at all updated at all so it feels very old fashioned the cadence of the dialogue is almost sometimes like that fun with Dick and Jane primer dialogue where the kids are just directly stating what they're doing so kids will pay attention I do think it's an interesting concept although it was tied up very neatly in the first volume so I definitely think this is more for younger kids But I think everything I read this week was pretty good, including my number eight pick, Books, Iced Coffee, and A Side of Dragons, which is a cozy LGBT graphic novel by Amanda Lovelace and Raquel Trave.
