Amanda Grayson

oh god yeah and he directed this movie and so this is his own direction for this character and it was spot on whether it's kirk saying he did too much lds in at berkeley during the free speech movement or we've we discovered that spock doesn't like italian food which is hilarious no yeah yes no yeah yes another great scene but in a more serious sense we do get this continuation of spock pursuing his human side.

And that, of course, is kicked off by the great Jane Wyatt reprising her role as Amanda Grayson, appearing early on in the movie to kind of ask Spock, how does he feel? And when we talk about part two next time, we'll cover the second half of that equation.

And I thought that was another great scene where he's being quizzed with all of these factual kind of mathematical equations and things like that.

And he's answering right away and he's learning all the basic nuts and bolts of being scientific Spock and learning about the world and astrophysics and all the things.

But in a more serious sense, we do get this continuation of Spock pursuing his human side.

Majel Barrett plays Amanda Grayson's voice, and Billy Simpson plays the young Spock here.
