Burrell forced a smart save from Vitk, and it was looking like the R's were finding their way back into it.

I know he's great going forward and you, you're talking about Jay Clark-Salter, which is fantastic.

But I mean, arguably, I don't think he knows his wing backs either because I think Mbengue at some point will come off, off the right or the left and then it'll be Serkin and Lamptey if Serkin, you know, gets fit.

But, but for me, obviously I, I want, wanna touch on Mbengue, right? I, I, a lot of fans love Mbengue.

I love Mbengue.

Now ironically, Kone's best effort of the entire game came just before Julien Stéphane was preparing to take him off.

A clever flick in the box from across from Mbengue, very reminiscent of his goal against Coventry last season, nearly catching Bonham off guard, but he was just able to tip the ball over the crossbar.

Now, I know I just said that he looked rusty, but he was having chances.

And it did make me wonder whether Stefan should have left him out on the pitch.

If I'm being totally honest, I do think it was too many changes at once.

It felt like we lost a bit of rhythm.

I thought Mbengue and Adamson were actually having pretty decent games, to be fair to them.

And as I just touched on, they were all like for like changes.

You get Mbangay, who seems to be just having so much fun at the moment.

My undying love for Mbengue is often professed on this podcast and anyone who will listen.

I think he's really got the potential.

This is exactly the kind of game you can let him loose and just go a little bit wild.

I don't know who's running that, but the admin is smashing it out of the park.

Since the end of last season, it's been consistent and on trend, which is something new for QPR.

You know, beyond the obvious comedy of the strong characters that we have, like Mbengue, the squad seems really cohesive and it's almost like they actually like each other and want to spend time joking with each other, which is a novelty.

But yeah, you know, the numbers have gone up and I think that's really key for attracting a younger audience as well, which I think is also very important for QPR.
