Alyssa Wong

And then Starfire was announced, too.

Uh, this one's by Alyssa Wong and Belén Ortega.

They had no art to show, but they called it Red Sonja meets One Piece.

Ooh, okay, gaggy.

Issue number one, the fourth of the Mangaverse one-shots.

This is by Alyssa Wong and Michael Igge.

It's basically, what if Psylocke was Ghost Rider and had a cool talking motorcycle and went up against an evil cult leader who turns out midway through to be Mangaverse Carnage?

Yep,

And, yeah, really, I'm really, I'm in love with it.

The artist I worked with on this one is, uh, Haining, who also did Spirit World with Alyssa Wong and is incredible.

This project has been just so much fun to write and so much fun to put out into the world.

And then I'm actually writing on, um, existing intellectual property, Hellraiser-

But because of John Kessel being there, it brought in genre writers and really quite...

Kij Johnson came out of NC State and Alyssa Wong came out of NC State.

So there was definitely genre influence and there was definitely genre writers were invited to the MFA.

But I would say that literary was a stronger force.

...

Alyssa Wong and Amal El-Mohtar.

Both are just...

Their short stories changed my life.

He actually shares his species species origin with a character named Rue from the high Republic.

So I'm not familiar with this character and I don't think Dennis, you and I have, have covered anything that Rue is in, but he was first introduced in the high Republic phase three short story, rogue element by Alyssa Wong.

And then subsequently appeared in the comic book, the high Republic adventures crash landing.

So are you familiar with either one of these at all?

Elsa Bloodstone is the number two to that book.

And in Alyssa Wong's, you know, the romantic partner, Val, also has something to do.

This is a revenge story.

And the parts that I like about it are Deadpool's relationships to Captain America and Wolverine.
